Epic Lose

Post by Nameless on Sat Oct 11, 2008 7:02 pm

Oh man we lost so horribly at 3/4 of a mile...i mean 7 lakes. Especially me, i did so horribly; i feel so incompetent. =( i need you to help me improve my lack of skills. Most of our team scored higher than me on the written portion Sad

I talked to Mrs.Ward about the practices for compsci.
Ok, if I didn't remember it wrong, she said there might be practices on Mon-Wed (after school).

And we'll do better next time =)

Most definitely
Keep in mind that out low scores may have stemmed from bad organization and teamwork than from actual coding and problem solving.
We'll do much better next time.

Dude,
Its not stupidity,
its just lack of preparedness
We'll make sure you're prepared next time
+ you've only been doing compSci for a grand total of 6 weeks of your life, dont feel bad about your score

So? Every other novice on our team scored higher than me...
I feel like trash. I make poor grades in school and accomplish nothing at contests...

watch your double posts Ani plz, there is an edit button...

An (and the other novices) there's nothing wrong with your scores for a first time. In fact, considering you've only had CompSci for a few months, that's pretty good. Even 2 point problems typically require skills you may not have gone over in class yet.

Don't worry, you'll get better. If you want, we can tutor you for next contest Smile

As long as you're willing to get better, you can improve and we can help
