Teams of 3 are given 18 problems to complete within 2 hours. However, each team is allowed only 1 computer (2 members write solutions). Solutions are transfered to the judges using floppy disks or a network submission system called PC^2. There is no limit to the number of times a problem can be submitted, but it may be used as a tiebreaker. The problem set consists of 6 each of 2 pt, 5pt, and 9pt problems. Most problems will require file input.
