Hello Again,
During Summer School, I met Steven Wan from Seven Lakes,
He enlightened me about using calculator programs on GM tests,
Since Clements and Seven Lakes use it, why can't we?
as a result, I have made a variety of programs ranging from using the Law of Cosines to finding Coefficients after binomial expansion.
Programs like these could also be used to identify "happy" and "abundant" numbers and other useful purposes
Anyways, see me and bring a link cable for a copy of the programs I have made, they're not much, but they shave off time.

if you have the TI user manual, you should be able to learn how to make loops

while is pretty easy, for...i forget the syntax...

you have to put End at the end of the loop

any ideas for what I could make? nothing too complex, though, im not that good with ti basic

Happy/abundant/lucky number identifier would be good, shortest distance between point and line would be great too, it always takes me forever to do those questions . I'm actually done with most of the programs I need.

All the progs are very simple, only prompt, then formula, then disp.

Polynomial, or line (y=mx+b)? simple line is easy, polynomial is quite a bit harder...

And by the way I interpreted the rules for calculator in General Math, I don't seem to think it bars calculator programs. I'll still ask Mrs. Ward though.

In middle school Calculator (no calculators allowed in middle school General Math) you were required to wipe the calculator's memory before the contest to remove programs. You'll want to make absolute sure we can use these...don't want to get DQed in contests lol.

Whoa im really late lol. By the way, I recently have obtained a copy of "First Step for Math Olympians". I think you guys have a good idea for a project. Keep me posted about the status.

Uh...I know you got programs from 7Lakes...which ones do we still need?

Also, I can make a hidden forum to post the code, so only members given access can get the code? Makes it easier than having to meet the author.
